Outlook hyperlink opens two IE

I have a strange yet annoying problem with OL2003. When I click on a
hyperlink recieved through OL I get two IE windows that open with the same
page. Does anyone know how to make it stop opening two windows? I only
need to read the page once.

Is Firefox installed?
Check your association for IE is the same as here:

I don't have firefox installed and the information at the supplied link is
the same as what I have in my folder options. Any other thoughts?

See if unchecking DDE in that option helps. I've only ever seen the problem
once and I think it involved DDE.

Thanks for that idea but still to no avail! Oh well I guess I just live
with it until my next format.
