Outlook is losing the 'FROM' field in the email listing

Hello,

We have a user of Outlook 2000 (SR1) and has been having off/on
problems with their emails. The emails are received okay, but they are
lacking the 'From' field in the listing of the emails in the inbox. I
have confirmed that it is not the email server (in this case it is
sbcglobal.net or yahoo.com). In the web based view (from a web browser
to view emails) there is no problem.

I have tried running the SCANPST tool in the outlook.pst file and
nothing has been fixed. What could be causing this? What is the
solution?
