Outlook mail stuck in Outbox

When in cached mode! It worked in the past and I have
created a new profile as well. Theere have been no SW or
HW changes to the laptop.

Help!!

Was there any resolution to this? My out bound mail
hangs in spite of setting to send/receive every 5
minutes. The only way I can get it to send is to reopen
each message in the outbox and hit resend. I use XP/Pro
and am a fairly expert user. This has become an
increasing problem with Outlook 2002 and I now have
several clients that are experiencing similar hangs. Can
anyone help?
