Outlook on XP

When trying to send/receive, keep getting
message 'Microsoft encountered problems' and then closes
down. If I install the account on another PC, the emails
send/receive okay.

See if recreating your mail profile helps;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles

If it doesn't work please post the exact error as it shows up in the Event
Viewer

find and delete the *.srs files for your profile and restart outlook.
