Outlook only works at my office, how do I change this?

Outlook 2003 works great at my job, but when I take my laptop home and
connect to the internet (not via wireless) it stops functioning. I've had
several tech-minded people try to fix it, to no avail.

What, PRECISELY, do you mean by "stops functioning"? Do you mean it won't
start, or you can't send and receive email, or what?

I mean, the emails from earlier are viewable, all the calendars are available
to see, but no new messages show up, I cant add or save anything except to
tasks, and I can't send anything either. I get a message saying it's
attempting to send/receive messages, but the actions failed.
