outlook outbox is empty but shows (1)

If I create a new e-mail profile will I retain all my existing e-mails in
each of my existing categories, Or will I lose what is there?

What has this to do with the subject line?
What categories are you refering to?
Version of OL?

Creating a new profile doesnt imapct on data files, but you would have to
add your 'old' data file to the profile
