Outlook profile and emails disappear

This morning when I start my computer and open outlook, it asked me t
create a new account. All my old emails are gone and I also canno
locate any .pst file in my computer. Can somebody help me? How do
retreive the old profile?

If you're using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, did you enable showing hidden
files and folders?
