Outlook PST file empty.

I have 2 .pst files. When I view the file properties in
Explorer/File Manager etc they show as 4MB and 40MB in
size respectively.

When I open them through Outlook (2000, 2002 on NT and
XP) both files show as completely empty, and the file
size as 0KB.

I've run scanpst.exe, and it can't find any problems with
the files. Has anyone got any ideas?
