Outlook Security Update not good with macro

I have a program that I use to capture certain information
by auto sending emails through an excel macro. Since
upgrading to Office XP (and apparently this security
UPGRADE) my users now get a pop up box that states 'a
program is automatically trying to send email on your
behalf. If this is unexpected it could be a virus....so
on and so on'.

My question is this: besides removing office,
reinstalling it and not applying the security update, is
there a way to get this behavior to stop. Having users
see this pop up box defeats the entire purpose of the
macro.

Appreciate any help from any one on this issue. Thanks.

All I really want to do is figure out how to eliminate the
warning message when using the activeworkbook.sendmail
command in excel vba code.

Will I have to switch this code to a more advanced version
to get it to work properly or is there a workaround, or
registry setting that can be changed?

Thanks

As far as I know, you can't do it with SendMail, you would have to use
Automation and the Redemption object model.
