I've recently switched our office email from a linux based system to Windows
Server 2003's POP/SMTP server. There are approximately 10 email accounts in
the office. All clients are Outlook 2003 on Windows XP.
One computer is not able to retrieve POP mail for a single account. That
same computer IS able to retrieve POP mail for another account. There are NO
errors generated in the send/receive process. Also no errors in "Test
Account Settings" in the account setup page.
I have deleted and added the account several times to both Outlook AND the
POP server.
I am able to retrieve mail for the account using another user's Outlook.
Sure seems like a client issue to me. I'd be fine with clobbering
whatever's needed on the faulty Outlook's PC, but I need to be guaranteed
that no mail will be lost in the process.
Any ideas?
