OUTLOOK XP

When I open OUTLOOK it changes my desktop to 8 colors from
the normal 32 colors. When I CLOSE OUTLOOK it returnd the
desktop to 32 Colors. If I minimize OUTLOOK me desktop
remains a t 8-colors. How can I stop this from happening.
