I just got a new Dell comp two weeks ago. I order office
XP professional..installed..everything going great. When
I try to use my page border, it tells me that I need to
download that option from my Office cd. It's not
downloading. Is there any other way to get ahold of some
page borders for Word?? Please help. I need this for a
school project. Thank you for your time.

Pull out your office CD and then go through Add/Remove Programs (or maybe it
will auto-start) --

Odds are on your new PC -- you have tons of available Hard Drive space...
What you might want to consider doing is to set all Word and Tools (and
Excel and others if you choose) to RUN FROM PC. Assuming you have more than
adequate hard drive -- even fully installing all clip art to RUN FROM PC can
save you the headache of selecting a piece of clip-art and then get prompted
for the CD.

Odds are that not all features were installed... so work your way through
the Menu (in Office 2000 -- it uses the + - setup like in Windows Explorer)
to see all the available features and tools -- then any that you think you
will use frequently -- go ahead an set to RUN FROM PC.

Again -- this is on the assumption that you have plenty of available hard
drive space. If that is not the case -- then see what you have available --
and watch your selections to determine how much of that space you will be
using.

Good Luck!
