Page numbering troubleshooting

Hi Experts,

I have a problem that I am sure has an easy fix, but I'm
not discovering it very easily.

I am having difficulty changing the starting page number
for page 2 (of x pages) for a document. It defaults to 0
as the starting number, even when I explicity request the
starting number to be 2. It also does not increment the
page numbers that follow. All pages say "Page 0 of 6" for
example. (I've tried changing the template as well to no
avail.)

Any advice greatly appreciated.
