Paste into table

Hardly programming, but can you help?

How do I copy three contiguous cells in Excel,
and paste into three contiguous cells in a table in FrontPage 2003?

Many thanks

The number of cells in the row you are copying must match the number of cells in the row in the
table that you want to paste into.

Thanks for the response, however ....
The table in FrontPage has 9 columns,
Excel rows contain 256 cells, how do I do this?

Many thanks for the response, but I am looking for something
very simple!

Looks like the user will have to carry on typing the data manually.

When you select the row in Excel make sure the cells (columns) match the number of cells (columns)
in your FP table.

Ah, now, you see, if it was that simple, I would never
have posted my question here in the first place!

If I select the 9 cells in Excel and copy them, then try to
paste into the table in FP, then all the 9 cells are pasted
into the first column (cell) in the FP table.

No matter what I try to do, the result is *always* as above.

I have tried "Paste Special" in all of it's guises.
I have tried selecting all the nine cells in the table, and pasting.
I have tried coming in from the side, and pasting.
I have tried everything that I can think of.
I suppose being very familiar with Excel, I am expecting FP
to react in the same way, but alas, sadly, it doesn't.

Thanks

Save the cells from Excel as a HTML document, import into FP, then open and copy and paste.

OK, thanks for the help, you have gotten me most of the
way there, but the formatting is completely wrong.
It really is not worth pursuing any further, it is far quicker
to type the data in manually, or copy and paste the cells
one at a time.

Hi Rendon,
I think there's a solution by importing the excel table see on the
menus
