Pasting NOT HTML by default

Is there anyplace to set a preference to paste in plain text instead of HTML
format?
When I paste an email address, I don't want it to hyperlink, and going to
edit, paste special, plain text is just too many steps when you working with
thousands of addresses.

Hi Sally,

Internally Word is using HTML/XML so it's the default
paste format. You can change the default by using a macro
and you can change some of the behaviors through the
settings for the Paste Option button and Smart Cut and Paste
settings in Tools=>Options=>Edit.

If it's only the addresses you want to change so that they're
not clickable then you can change the setting in
Tools=>Autocorrect options=>Autoformat for 'Internet
connections and hyperlinks'
