Path Problem

This was a tough one to put a title on...

On this one computer, running Windows XP Pro SP2 and Office
2002, when I want to use the Linked Table Manager in MS
Access, and get to the point of selecting the new location,
if I try to use the drop-down menu, Access hangs, and has to
be closed using Task Manager. If, instead of using the
drop-down, I just use the button for backing up one
directory, all is well (slow, but no hang).

Any thoughts appreciated.

As a guess, try this: Right-click on the My Computer icon on the
Windows desktop or in the Windows Start menu, left-click on Disconnect
Network Drive, and disconnect any mapped drives that are not currently
available.
