Hi,
Hi i can change default path to tmp files ?
Those files are save in the same directory with document file, so can i
change that ofice doesn't save it in my file server, and store on local
disk ?

Hi jjur,

It depends on which temporary files you're trying to redirect. If it's the temporary files that Windows and Word use to mark an
open document, those you can't move. They open where the document opens.

You can use the setting in Tools=>Options=>Save in Word for
[x] Make local copy...
to have the work done more on your local PC than on the server except for saving.

If you're trying to redirect the location for your temporary files folder (the one you get when you type %temp% in Start=>Run) you
can do that by right clicking 'My Computer', then choose
Properties=>/Advanced\=>[Environment Variables]

strange names. I can do that witch Word, but no Excel and Acces.
