PDF Converter

I have looked a bit at programs that convert PDF documents to MS Word. The
ones I have looked at convert everything to graphic images rather than real
Word text that you can then work with.

Does anyone know of a program that converts PDF documents to MS Word
documents that appear as if they were created with MS Word in the first
place.

TIA

If you "save as" a Word document within the Acrobat program, you can open it in Word
and edit the text.

Thanks for responding.

I am using Adobe reader 7.1. This allows you to save a file as text, but
does not preserve any of the formatting. There is no capability as far as I
can see with the Adobe reader to save a file in Word format. Sorrry if my
previous post misled you into thinking I had the full Acrobat program

Hello Jim.

Adobe reader 7.1 is just a reader, for more functionality such as converting
to MS words document you might need the Adobe Acrobat.

$12.95 to register. And you don't even need to have Adobe
anything installed on your system for it to work.

ABC Amber make lots of other very useful converters, by the
way.
