I'm creating a website and want to link to an MSN Health and Fitness Article.
Can someone tell me who I need to contact for permission? I've looked all
through the MSN website and can't figure out what I need to do.

Thanks,
Marilyn

If you are linking to another website, i.e. "see this page for more
information" then you don't need to request permission. Users will view the
content on the MSN page served by an MSN server, you are just directng people
to it and making no claim that the content is your copyright or property.

If however you were for displaying the entire article or a substantial part
of it on your webpage (e.g. within a frame) then you would need permission,
as it would not be apparent to the used that the content was not yours, and
you would deprive the true owner of the traffic and and any resultant
revenues.

Thanks. Is it permissable to use the MSN logo beside the article link? Marilyn

As long as you are using the standard logo and use it in a way that doesn't
lead the visitor to think your site is MSN, or part of MSN, then its
generally permissable.

e.g. Visit these links at [MSN logo] for more information
