personal folders

I have MS Office XP on my laptop that I use at work and travel with. I want
to be able to see my contacts and calender while traveling and someone
mentioned personal folders. was also to that I could use personal folders to
when new emails hit my account they are downloaded to my personal folder
instead of staying on the server. can someone tell me how to set this up

Are you using Exchange server at work? If yes, you are better served by
using offline folders (.ost) rather than a .pst since .psts are meant for
non-Exchange users.

Post back with the information about Exchange and I can help you set up
offline folders - they hold all of your Exchange information but they are
available when you are not connected to Exchange. Please, also post your
version of Outlook.
