Is there any way to set up an FP photogallery so that instead of showing the
larger pic on click, it links to a page on the site?

You will have to edit every link in the gallery, which is liable to
break the gallery, and your edits will be reverted to the normal method
if you ever edit the gallery with the Wizard.
