Can anyone guide me in finding how planned value is calculated. The
tables/views used in calculating the planned value

Hello Rajesh,

In the Help of Project, look for "Earned value fields", BCWS, BCWP, ACWP....
Display also the Earned Value table :
View / Table / More Tables... / Earned Value
