Poor graphic print quality of embedded pdf in Excel

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel My print quality of my excel documents gets very washed out when I imbed pdf images in the worksheet. The images appear fully saturated on screen but print so washed out as to be barely visible. Selecting "Photo" quality or even "Top Quality Photos" settings does nothing. Any hints?

How are you "embedding" the images? If by copy/paste you're actually getting
PNGs rendered by the OS X Clipboard. Try using the Insert> Picture> From
File method if that isn't what you're already doing.

Thanks Bob. I was simply dragging and dropping from a folder on my desktop. I just tried the "Insert>Picture>From File" method and got the same "Barbara Walters" effect. Soft, fuzzy and ageless. : )

It is interesting that it affects not only the images but also the type as well. My black outlines and text goes all grey on me.

Any other tricks up your sleeve?
