pop-up windows

Hi,

I would like to incorporate a sort of pop-up window in a webpage. Basically
what I would like is when the cursor is placed on the word, I would like a
pop-up window to sort of appear...like fade in and out. I'm assuming this
isn't a pop-up window but some sort of information. Could somebody please
help me.

You'd want to look at mouseover and mouseoff. Which is JavaScript. Google on
those or look them up in your favorite html/javascript website. You'd be
writing code, so if you haven't gotten into that yet you'd want to get a book
or go thru some online tutorials (plenty out there). You'd need to move to a
web design program (FrontPage), versus using Publisher.

It would be trouble-some to do in Publisher. Which is designed for a static
site. FrontPage or any web site design tool would be the appropriate avenue.
Moving Publisher html into FrontPage is trouble-some as they each have their
own coding technology.

I found that term today. I created the entire website on publisher...it's
basically done. Do I have to restart or can I just convert it to FrontPage
from Publisher? There's no way of entering the HTML codes in Publisher to
allow this feature?
