I am running Outlook 2002 on all of my computers. All the accounts are setup
the same way. I just got a new computer to replace an older one. I loaded the
my last copy that was bought when I bought the others.
After configuring the email account, I get these test results:
Establish network connection/Completed
Find outgoing mail server (SMTP)/Completed
Find incoming mail server (POP3)/Completed
LOG ONTO INCOMING MAIL SERVER (POP3)/ (could not connect to server)
Send test e-mail message/Completed
The error said to check the credentials and they are all correct. I had two
other people verify it. I still get the same results.
I have heard other people having similar problems.
The other computers had the Office products upgraded, this one did not. But
all the settings are the same.
I tried one of the other computers with a new account under a different
login. I get the same results. Could there be a possible conflict?
Help!
Thanks,
John
