I've created a new view using the portfolio analyzer but the only user that
can see it is anyone logging in a Administrator. How do i give a permissions
to these views to different groups? whats the difference in security VS
views in admin area?

You have to add the view to a category which are assigned to the
security group that the user belongs to.

For example, say you want your project managers to see the view. You
have to add the view to the My Projects category. My Projects category
is by default assigned to the Project Managers group where your typical
project manager users belong to.

i went into 'Manage Security' and 'My projects' and made sure this view is in
list of resource views. But I don't see the 'Analyze resources in Portfolio
Analyzer' in the Resources area when I log in, only if I log in as
Administrator.

Everyone who is to use the view must be a member of a Group that has
permission to "View Portfolio Analyzer."

Also, you said you put the Analyzer view you created in the list of Resource
views. That is not possible. Analyzer views have their own area in the
Category definition page. Maybe that's what you meant to say, or maybe you
didn't really create a Portfolio Analyzer view?

Thanks Reid, Project Managers group didn't have permission to view Portfolio
analyzer.
