Powerpoint - OLK File

R

Richard del Mundo

I received an email with a powerpoint attachment. When I
opened it and made some changes to it, I just saved it to
the default. When I looked at the default, it saved on to
my C:\my documents and settings\user\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK12. Now I can't
retrieve this folder the next day. Please help.

Thank you

Well, you basically saved your changes to a temporary folder. If you have
your Temporary Internet Files folder set to clean itself out, the folder's
probably been deleted.

Try refinding and opening the email and then save the PPT file to your hard
drive (of course, don't save it to a temporary folder, though). Then open it
and make your changes.

Or poke around in your Temporary Internet Files folder and see if you have
any files from around that time which might be retrieveable.
