PowerPoint use already created master design template

I have designed a master template for a PowerPoint presentation which I want
to use as the basis of all other presentations. However, it does not show up
as a possible design template to use, despite me preserving it.

All advice gratefully received

Many thanks

How did you preserve it? Did you save it as a template file (.pot)

I am assuming you did the following (as a minimum):

1. Opened PowerPoint
2. Clicked the "View" menu, selected "Master", "Slide Master".
3. Add your images and customizations here (possibly adding a Title Master
from the Insert menu)
4. Closed the Slide Master
5. Clicked "File", "Save as", clicked the "Save as type" dropdown and
selected "PowerPoint Design Templates ".pot"" option, and gave it a name

If you didn't do these, try again.
