I need to print the entire screen so I can highlight some
icons and give discription of them for a training. I
thought I knew how, but it's not happening. Can someone
please clue me in.

Danie,

On a windows computer you can press the "Print Screen / PrtSc" key on your keyboard. That will capture the current
screen and put it on the clipboard.

Edit > Paste will paste the captured screen in to powerpoint. Although I recommend pasting the captured screen in a
graphics app (like photoshop or similar)...then saving it as a PNG or GIF...then insert>picture>from file in powerpoint
