Print directly from a link?

I have 2 images.
The first is an animated gif and the second image is an application form.

The first image is linked to the second and when clicked on will open the
second image.

What is the procedure for clicking on the first image which will then PRINT
the second image instead of opening it.

Any advice would be helpful

You can't.
You can however open the image in a new window and then print it using
Javascript.
