Printing Error in Publisher 2000

Hello, Whenever I try to print a document using Microsoft Publisher
2000, I get the error message "peformed and illegal operation and will
be shut down". It occurs most often when I print more than one copy
of the document. The only way I can get it to print successfully is
to save and close the program completely, go into My Documents where
it is saved and right click on the file and select print. Although
this only prints a single copy, which is not what I want.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing etc, but nothing
seems to cure the problem.

Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

There are no printing issues with Publisher that cannot be attributed to
faulty, outdated or incorrectly installed printer drivers. IOW, there are no
issues that can be directly attributed to the program itself.

And before you say "well I can print from Word, Access, Excel, etc" - you
have to remember that DTP applications are much fussier about drivers than
other programs.

I suggest you download the latest driver for your printer.
