printing issue - excel graphs in publisher documents

I'm using Publisher 2007 to create multi-page documents that are
basically repeat formats every 2 pages (i.e., the format is the same
on pages 1,3,5, etc. and also the same on pages 2,4,6,etc.) Every
other page contains a graph (bar graph) created in Excel 2007 and
copied into the Publisher document. The graphs were all created with
the same formats and copied/pasted the same way. When I print the
document (Ikon 500 color printer) a solid black box appears where the
graph should be on some of theh pages. Other pages print fine.
Suggestion was made that there is an issue with Publisher. Anyone
heard of this problem? Thanks!

Publisher usually has no issues with printers. Is your driver current? Can you
save the graph and insert rather copy/paste. Does it make a difference if you
paste special? Do the graphs look okay in print preview?

I have the same problem. When I copy cells fra Excel into Publisher 2007 and
want to print, the scheme turns into a black solid box. I have inserted
special as a bitmap, but that didn't help. It should be as simåple as to copy
cell from Excell and paste into e.g. a Word file. The cells look fine in
print review.

Have you tried, Insert, object, scroll down to Excel worksheet, tick from file
and browse to your file?
