Problem when trying to pdf publisher file

When trying to pdf a publisher file it comes out being about 7 times larger
than the publisher file. Too big for email which I need. Why is this?

With the wealth of infomation you've given, I'm sure you'll have people
clamouring to assist you. Why don't you start by answering some basic
questions: -

1) What version of Publisher are you using?
2) What are you using to create the PDF?
3) What OS are you running?

Until you answer those, I can't see you receiving much assistance.

Give the pdf creating program, the Publisher version, the size of the
two files.
Then the folks who can help, will be able to help.

Try PDF Create which I use with Publisher...works well and I haven't seen
this problem

Publisher 2003
Publisher File Size - 1653 kb
PDF File Size - 7573 kb
My apologies

Open the pdf file in acrobat

click on file on the menu bar

look for the command to reduce file size

click on that to reduce your pdf file size

works like a charm
