Problem with "Insert File" and when trying to Save files

When I try to attache a file to an email, or when I need to save a file (any
file - Word, Excel...), and the Insert File window (or Save As window) opens
up, if I click on the Down Arrow in the Save In window, the application
freezes up completely. Same with the down arrow in the Look In window (when
tryint to attache a file). This is a brand new computer, XP Pro, Office 2003,
I run Office Repair but with no help. The only for me to work around this is
to choose the Up One Level button and go from there, but any click on the
Down Arrow will freeze me.

Any idea?

Perhaps there is a mapped drive which is not attached?
