Problem with tabs after saving 2002 newsletter as 2000

I update a weekly newsletter in Publisher 2002 and send it to someone as a Publisher 2000 document. I have been doing this for over a year, but just recently have run into a problem. When I save the publication as a Publisher 2000 document, all of the tabs disappear so the text becomes flushed left. I have tried this on several machines where it worked at one time (home and work), but it is no longer working.

I have tried fixing the document on another machine that has Publisher 2000, but when I attempt to "tab" I get a space instead and I end up retyping the entire newsletter. Any idea why this would happen all of a sudden? I haven't installed or upgraded any software. I'm using Publisher 2002 on a Windows 2000 Professional system at work and Publisher 2000 on a Windows XP Home system at home.

Helen unless you had access to the computer it is unlikely you would find
the problem.
The problem you describe is unknown.
If either of the computers has the junk Symantec Norton installed, that
could well be the issue. RE-moving/UN-installing the junk garbage trash
Symantec Norton would be the only way to see if it is causing the issue.
