Problems with Outlook

I typed a message, had to leave for a minute and the
message wasn't gone--before I send it.

RAther than retyping the whole thing again, I need help
in knowing where to turn to troubleshoot a problem using
Outlook to send and receive messages from my server. I'm
on aol now.

How do I find out if someone is responding to this.

A bit confused with your question. If you create an email
and DON'T hit the send button the email will go nowhere!
Look in your drafts folder, it should be there...
