Problems with PST File

Hi all,

Whenever I open Outlook 2000, it stops responding without
errors. I removed Outlook 2000 and installed Outlook XP
with SP1 & SP2. Then I updated the Antivirus and Windows
2000 with the latest updates, but all of this didn't solve
the problem.

If I right click the Outlook icon and select Properties,
then I go to Data Files and try to check the Properties of
the PST file, Outlook hangs. The PST file is only 1.4 GB
and didn't reach the 2 GB limit.

I noticed when I remove the PST file from Outlook,
everything works fine. I took this PST file and put it on
another computer and as soon as I select the file to be
added, Outlook hangs.

I used the SCANPST.EXE tool to scan the file twice on two
different computers, and no errors where found.

This PST file contains a lot of important data, is there
anything I can do to fix the problem?
