Problems with sending attachments

In the last week I have sent emails with PDF and word
files but they have not reached their destination. Any
other email without these files will reach. I've even
tried emailing myself and have received the file. Would
anyone know what maybe causing this?

Is this happening every time you send it outside your mail server or just
select users? if it is select users, you may want to find out if they are
filtering and are able to receive these type of documents. We correspond
with a company that will not allow zip files through their network and are
forced to rename the file prior to sending. Try changing the extension on
the file and send again. If it works, they are probably filtering file
types.
