Profesisonal Edition 2003 Installation Problem

Received the "Full Version" of both Pro Edition and One Note, but when I attempted to install it on a new computer with Windows XP, it would not accept the Product Key of the office portion. Any clues? It also asked for this same code earlier in the process.

Cowbush2 - I am having the EXACT same problem you described. I, too, have Windows XP and successfully used the product key code to install Office Pro 2003 but, when I open Word or Excel, that same key code only results in an error message and denied access. This was the ONLY key code provided with the disc. I've attempted to get help directly from MS but, yah right... If you don't mind, I'd like to piggyback on your posting here - hopefully, someone has a solution for us

Thanks
Kris

Through what channel did you receive this version? Is the Windows XP
computer the first computer you have installed it on?

Sue,
I'm the computer/software/IT Buyer for a university and received this "complimentary" software from MS directly as a promo item. I guess the idea behind it is that once I use it I will recommend it to the various departments looking to purchase/upgrade MS Office software. The answer to your second question is yes, the Windows XP computer is the first and only computer I've installed it on.
Thanks,
Kris
