Progress lines in relation to Baseline 2 or other different baseli

1st question: Does anyone know if I can hack Project to get it to show a
progres line in relation to a Baseline 2, Baseline 3, or any baseline plan
other than the default?

2d question: Does anyone know if I can display a simple vertical line in the
Gantt Chart at a particular date for reference? (apart from maybe hacking the
nonworking time on the project calendar and using the nonworking time
shading.)

Thanks all!

[Julie] - I don't believe so. You could use the interim plan option
(Tools > Tracking, Save baseline) to copy Baseline data to a spare
baseline field (Baseline10), then copy Baseline 2 back to Baseline to
draw to that baseline. But, then you'd have to recopy Baseline10 back
to Baseline to get the "real" baseline.

[Julie] You can draw lines (using the Drawing toolbar) on the Gantt
chart. Double click on the line to specify the line height and choose
to attach the line to the timescale at your preferred date.
Thanks all!

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi,

How about using the Status Date on the Gridlines?
You can set the line type, colour, ect. and as it changes, the line
moves.
It is all built in.

Just a thought.
