Project 2000 dates not correct when I change project calendar

I set up a calendar where I define 6 hours to the day and 30 hours for the
week. If I put in a project for 30 hours, it shows a duration of 5 days but
the start and finish dates are less than 5 days in duration. They are four
days which I believe is due to the dates being caculated based on 8 hour days.

Its got my whole project out of sync!

Hi Web project manager,

You need to make changes in two places: Change the calendar through
Tools>Change Working Time and edit each working day (select M>F in the column
headings) to the 6 hours per day.

Then go to Tools>Options, calendar tab. Edit the hours per day to 6 and the
hours per week to 30. You will need to change the durations in any tasks you
have already entered, if you used days.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
