Project 2003 - Format Bars

I need to change the colour of a number of bars in a programme in MSProject
2003 to highlight them.
I can change a single bar at a time and I can change all of the bars at the
same time; but I can't find how to select, say 20 tasks, and format all the
bars in the selection. Selecting them each individually is extremely time
consuming and tedious as I have many to do.
I'm guessing that there is an easy way to achieve this but I'm blowed if I
can see it.
Can anyone assist please?
Kind regards
Peter

I would insert Flag1 and set it to Yes for all the Tasks you want different
coloured bars for. Now select Format, Bar Styles and create a new bar with
the format you want which only shows for Flag1. Now every task with
Flag1=Yes will show as you want!

Trevor

That works great! Many thanks.

All well and good being self-taught on these things, but one tends to miss
these gems..........

Kind regards
