Mingo,
I assume the pool file had no problems before the one user with Project
2002 opened and saved it. I don't know if this will help but here are a
couple of things to try.

First, have the user with 2002 go to Help/Detect and Repair. After
running the repair, open and immediately save the pool file. For that
matter, it wouldn't hurt for those users with 2003 to do the same Detect
and Repair process.

Second, you mentioned saving as an *.mpd but didn't say if the *.mpd
file was opened - only that the file was resaved as an *.mpp. Saving a
corrupt file as a database file and then re-opening can sometimes clear
corruption that may exist.

Hope this helps.

hi John,

thanks for replying. when i opened the *.mpd file it was looking for a
reference file and i chose the original project file. was it suppose to do
that? then i saved it as *.mpp. i will try to do a detect repair on the
project 2002 user. i have already ran detect repair on all 2003 users. i
will let you know what happens.

Mingo,
No, after the file is saved as an *.mpd, the next step is to open the
*.mpd file from Project. Then immediately save as an *.mpp. Try that.
