Project 2003 says I have overallocated resources, but I do not

I run Microsoft Project 2003 and I am just getting familiar with this
program. I have set up a master project with three sub projects and I am
using a resource pool for all three projects. All of the projects have tasks
that begin in February. When I go to the Resource Usage view, it says that
all of my resources are overallocated. It shows that two of my resources are
scheduled for too many hours on January 30th, and I do not even have any
resource scheduled for any task on this day? I may have had them scheduled
there before, and have moved dates since. Could the problem be that project
is not updating? Or am I missing something?

Hi,

A possiblke cause is that you stoill have the old files connected to the
pool.
In the pool , Tools, Resource Sharing... you'll find the list of connected
projects.
If necessary click brealk link

Jan, thanks A HEAP for clarifying that - it's been an issue I just couldn't
seem to track down. With your tip I was able to finally clean up my resource
pool.

Cheers,
-JP
