project 2007 with office 2003

I looking to buy MS Project. I have a full suite of office 2003 and don't
want to upgrade all of them at this point. ($'s).

Are there any problems with installing Project 2007 along side of my current
Office 2003 suite programs?

Will I lose functionality of any functions?

Would it be better to find a copy of Proct 2003?

There should be no loss of functionality. If it becomes an issue because
people you work with don't have 2007, then buy the 2007 license, install
2003 from another disk and use the 2007 copy as your license for the 2003
install. You can then upgrade to 2007 with your copy when you like.

The only issue I have had is loss of functionality with the Visual Reports
feature in
MS Project 2007. The visual reports feature has two options: Visio and
Excel. The version of Excel 2003 is fine with Projct 2007. However,
MSProject2007 requires Visio2007 for the Visio features in the Project Visual
Reports of Project 2007 to function.

For me, this is no problem. I like Rod's solution.
