Project, make a variable duration task with SS and FF dependancie

Hi, in project I want a task with variable duration, start and finish
controlled by SS and FF dependancies from other tasks. How to do it?
The task is actually supervision of many other tasks in a project, and
continues from the 'start' to the 'finish' milestones.

The type of task you are seeking is called a Hammock task. For

There are a lot of "tricks" that can be used with any application.
Normally the application Help file will not attempt to explore all of
these "outlying" methods. That is one reason this newsgroup exists -
share the experience.
