I wonder if someone here can help me please.
I work for an IT reseller. We regularly have a number of
projects on the go at the same time - building and then
installing IT equipment.
We would like to set up a project management system
whereby individual engineers can somehow publish what days
they are available to work (as opposed to when they are on
holiday or on training etc). These individual calendars
can then be imported into a resource pool that is shared
between the various ongoing projects.
I know that we could use one resource pool, but this would
mean that each engineer would have access to everyone
else's calendar and the potential then exists for someone
to inadvertently alter the wrong calendar.
Is there some way we can enable individuals to publish
their own calendar and could we do this in Project or do
we need Project Server?
