Project server and SQL server

E

Eytan

We are a small company running Windows 2003 Server, We
just purchased Project Server 2002 and we were wondering
if we need to install SQL server 2000 or could we bypass
it and still get most of the features from Project Server.

Thank you!

Hi

As I understand that you would like to install Project server 2002 without
SQL server 2000, this you can achive it by using MSDE as the back end
database for Project server 2002. However, this has some limitation that
really needs to be taken care.

Go through KB Artilce 321392 for system requirements for Project server
2002.
