PST File opens automatically

Having an issue on a new XP computer where as soon as windows load, it asks for the users password for his .PST file. And then if at any time you go into Outlook, it doesn't ask for the password. We don't want this to happen, but we can't find a way to stop it. It's not listed in any startup folder or run entry in the registry. Any help is appreciated

Does the user have Outlook integrated software installed like
synchronisation software for a PDA? This software will start Outlook as
well.
