pst files in Outlook 2003

Hi

Just a quick question: does anyone know why my Outlook personal folders says
Personal Folders (97-2000) when I right click, select properties, advanced?

When I do the same on my archive folders it just says Personal Folders. Is
there a difference?

The 97-2002 format only allowed a PST to grow to 2GB while the new format
(shown as simply "Personal Folders") allows the file to grow much larger.

Right. Is it odd then that Office 2003 would have the older version of the
personal folders? Is it possible to change it to the newer one?

It's not that odd, especially if you've upgraded versions on the same
machine. What I did was create a new PST in the new format, drag/dropped my
info to it then renamed the old one and made the new one use the old name.
Seemed to work OK for me (your mileage may vary).

Isn't that a good way to risk corrupting your mail profile?
